Terms of Service

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you create or manage an account for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

Organization owners are responsible for inviting users lawfully and obtaining any consent required for learners who cannot consent for themselves.

Astudylab provides structured software-engineering lessons, quizzes, coding practice, AI-assisted mentoring and authoring, cohort administration, learning analytics, and evidence-backed completion records.

Astudylab is not a university or accredited institution. Certificates and achievement reports record activity and demonstrated requirements; they are not academic accreditation, professional licensing, or a promise of employment.

We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. We aim to give reasonable notice when a material change would significantly reduce a paid service.

Provide accurate account and billing information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to protect the service.

Organization owners control membership, roles, curriculum, and organization content. Learners and mentors must follow the organization owner’s lawful instructions and policies in addition to these Terms.

Use Astudylab only for lawful learning, training, and organization-management purposes.

You retain ownership of content you or your organization submit. You grant Astudylab a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

Astudylab and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, designs, and provided curriculum. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Review it before relying on it, publishing it, or using it in production, and do not submit confidential or sensitive information unless necessary and authorized.

The Free plan and any no-card trial are governed by the limits shown on the pricing page. The self-serve Team plan is billed in USD at $29 per active learner for a monthly subscription or $292.32 per active learner for an annual subscription, unless a written order states otherwise. Enterprise terms and prices are agreed separately.

An active learner is a learner-role member with recorded lesson progress or quiz activity during the applicable billing period. Dormant learner seats are not billed. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected interval until canceled.

Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method associated with your billing account for fees and applicable taxes. We will give reasonable advance notice of price changes that affect a future renewal.

An organization owner can cancel through the in-app Billing page and Stripe-hosted billing portal, or request help by email. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and the subscription will not renew after that date.

Paid fees are generally non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated, except for duplicate or incorrect charges, an approved billing-error request, rights required by law, or a written agreement that says otherwise. The Refund and Cancellation Policy at /refund-policy explains the process and timelines.

A failed payment can place the workspace in a seven-day grace period and then a read-only state. Restoring payment restores write access; we do not immediately delete learning records because a payment fails.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use, a serious breach of these Terms, or non-payment. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

You may stop using the service at any time. Cancellation does not erase obligations or charges incurred before the cancellation becomes effective.

We work to keep Astudylab reliable and secure, but the service is provided on an as-available basis and can experience maintenance, errors, or third-party outages. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Astudylab is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by user content, external repositories, third-party services, or reliance on unverified AI output.

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or security changes. We will post the updated effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms, subject to any mandatory rights.
